Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in College Hill | Residential Psychiatry seeks a part-time Behavioral Health Specialist to join the College Hill Residential team. The 24-hour weekly position is 0.6 FTE with rotating day/evening shifts.

You will lead group activities, apply a token economy, provide direct patient care, document behavioral observations, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for youth in crisis. Part-time benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (experience not required but preferred)

Responsabilités

• Milieu Management: create a safe, stable environment and implement a token economy.
• Plan of Care: implement individualized care plans and activities of daily living.
• Group Programming: lead structured group programming and engage patients.
• Therapeutic Relationships: build rapport with professional boundaries.
• Documentation: timely shift notes, incident documentation, and safety checks.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years related experience

Bachelor’s degree in related field
