Job summary

Dallasact is seeking a qualified individual to provide professional casework and counseling in the rehabilitation of youthful offenders. The role involves conducting risk assessments, supervising youths, and collaborating with families and community agencies to tailor effective support programs.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and are encouraged to have prior experience in social services. A valid Texas driver's license and Probation Officer certification are required. This position is full-time with a day shift in Dallas, Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a relevant field.
• Prefer one year of related experience in social services, community or corrections.
• Must obtain Probation Officer certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise services for youths to promote rehabilitation.
• Conduct intake assessments and determine supervision levels.
• Consult with families and service providers for tailored interventions.
• Plan treatment programs related to education and behavior modification.
• Counsel families on behavior and progress in rehabilitation.
