Qualifications

• Recovery Navigators must be in personal recovery for a Substance Use Disorder and stabilized for a minimum of 2 years.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and pass all background checks.
• After one year of service, must obtain certification as a Certified Recovery Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and rapport building with at-risk youth.
• Communication with affiliated support personnel in schools and social service agencies.
• Planning and coalition building within the community.
