Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma; some college in education, social work, or psychology.
• One year of experience working with youth.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programming to address prevention and support to youth in high-risk situations.
• Identify and secure appropriate program framework and curriculums.
• Identify youth for program through referrals and outreach.
• Develop referral relationships with local mental health and substance abuse providers.
• Coordinate schedule and facilitate weekly activities.
• Develop and track progress of program outcomes.
• Plan activities promoting spiritual, mental, emotional and physical development.
• Mentor and model positive behavior; involve corps officers for spiritual development.
• Record and report youth activities and participants; submit quarterly reports.
