Job summary

The Salvation Army in Burlington, NC is hiring for a Full Time Regular position at the NSC-Burlington Red Shield Youth Center. The role involves planning and directing center-wide program services with supervision of staff and volunteers to ensure safe, engaging youth programming.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience in youth programming or related field. Schedule is Mon-Fri, non-exempt, with local travel and CDL/CPR certifications required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business, accounting, or social services.
• Two (2) years’ work experience planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.

Responsibilities

• Drives Salvation Army vehicle to transport youth members/staff to/from the Red Shield Youth Center and to/from approved community activities and events.
• Performs and monitors a variety of programmatic administrative duties to support program operations.
• Ensures all programs are operated in a safe manner and positively impact the lives of youth through activities and services that measurably and progressively move youth individually to attain positive outcomes.
