Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of Carson Inc is seeking staff to plan, implement, supervise and evaluate youth programs across Education, Social Recreation, and Arts & Crafts. The role focuses on providing safe, engaging programming with adult mentors who guide and support members.

Responsibilities include promoting participation, registering new members, tutoring, maintaining logs, and coordinating with staff and parents to ensure programs meet youth needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children and youth development knowledge preferred.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate activities in Education, Special Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts and Physical Education.
• Promote program participation and register new members.
• Provide daily homework and tutoring assistance; maintain attendance and progress logs.
• Address concerns from parents and teachers; prepare schedules and activity reports.
