Job summary

National Audubon Society’s Seward Park Audubon Center in Seattle seeks a Youth Programs Manager to design and execute high‑quality environmental education programs for teens. You will mentor students, connect them with environmental professionals, and align programs with Audubon priorities and state/national standards.

The role focuses on expanding youth leadership pathways, internships, and multigenerational programming, while collaborating with educators, partners, and the Center Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years designing and managing youth education programs for K-12 audiences.
• Experience building partnerships with schools and culturally diverse communities.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and facilitation skills; public speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of youth education and leadership programs.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive youth engagement pathway including internships and programs.
• Coordinate school and youth group participation, scheduling, transportation, and scholarships.
