Job summary

Grand Valley State University in Battle Creek is seeking a program leader to develop and oversee summer camps, after-school initiatives, and the 8th Grade Pathways to GVSU program. You will lead program design, staff management, and community collaboration to support students' growth.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, coordination with schools and university partners, and data-driven assessment of outcomes to expand impact in the Battle Creek area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of dedicated experience in educational program development or youth programs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience with K-12 students in Battle Creek area and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee summer camp programs for K-12 students.
• Recruit, train, and supervise camp staff and volunteers.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in programs.
• Develop after-school programs and manage logistics.
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and community partners.
• Monitor program impact and collect attendance data.
