Job summary

MVP Sports Clubs is seeking a Kids Stuff Manager to lead day-to-day childcare and camp operations at our Grand Rapids facilities. You will coordinate scheduling, training, and safety compliance for Kid's Stuff team members, ensuring a high-quality experience for children and families.

This part-time role focuses on staffing, program development like Friday Fitness Funshop and seasonal camps, and strong coordination with the Club Director and Member Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in childcare development with at least 1 year of supervisory responsibilities.
• First Aid/CPR Training required; in-house training if missing.
• Required to complete Aquatics Skills Preparedness Course to provide coverage for lifeguards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills needed to supervise and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Kid's Stuff and camp programs.
• Coordinate, schedule, and train Kid's Stuff team members.
• Ensure safety procedures for children are followed.
• Schedule staff to provide appropriate coverage per staffing policy.
• Lead training sessions and promote the childcare component to members.
• Communicate with members about Kid's Stuff programs and enroll participants.
