Job summary

City of Greenacres is seeking staff to assist with daily operations of out-of-school time youth programs and camps. You will implement lesson plans, manage activity schedules, and supervise participants to ensure safe, inclusive, and engaging experiences.

The role includes coordinating snacks, transport, and field trips, while maintaining records and adhering to safety and quality standards. Some shifts may be seasonal or during school breaks.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required.
• DCF Live Scan Level II background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provides continuous supervision to program participants.
• Ensures programs run smoothly and handles emergencies and discipline.
• Assists with daily snack distribution and meal programs.
• Maintains participant records (attendance, bus log, incidents).
• Ensures Quality Improvement Standards (QIS) are met.
• Assists with coordinating recreation programs and activities.
• Serves as bus aide for pickups and trips, ensuring safety.
• Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness of facilities.
