Qualifications

• Retain a valid driver's license and be able to drive Salvation Army vehicles.
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
• Keep confidential matters confidential and follow privacy policies.
• Learn and observe Protecting the Mission policies.
• Be motivated, a self-starter, and a reliable team player.
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in all duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing curriculum and lead or assist with Troops and Sunday School.
• Support homework labs and assist teachers and volunteers.
• Plan youth events to expand the ministry and invite the community.
• Supervise Divisional Youth Rally and Music Camp weekends as needed.
• Help develop youth fundraising and volunteer programs.
• Make home visits to families to engage them in church activities.
• Assist in expanding volunteer involvement across the youth department.
• Attend youth camps as necessary (Oahu at Camp Homelani).
