Job summary

The Flatbush YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater New York, seeks a Program Coordinator to develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate programs at the branch and potential off‑sites. Focus is on program quality, service delivery, and staff development.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, ensure safety and inclusion, and coordinate communications with parents. The position emphasizes community impact and adherence to DOH and funder standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and well‑being of participants with supervision.
• Maintain accurate program documentation (files, attendance, reports).
• Supervise staff and volunteers in program delivery and camp activities.
• Collaborate with staff and school personnel to implement Y Programs and Summer Camp.
