Eckerd Connects' Girls Short-Term Juvenile Justice Residential Program in Kerr Lake, NC seeks a Direct Care Supervisor to supervise youth and staff, support educational and therapeutic activities, and maintain a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in social or human services with 2+ years working with youth and at least one year of supervisory experience; valid driver's license; willingness to travel on site; and ability to pass crisis intervention training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social or human service field with 2+ years' youth experience.
• One year of supervisory experience is required.
• Must be able to drive and have valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel on property and participate in aquatic activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and evaluate Youth Counselor/Teacher and Senior Youth Counselor/Teacher staff.
• Interview and select applicants for Youth Counselor/Teacher positions.
• Coordinate and oversee program activities ensuring a productive, therapeutic environment.
• Co-teach while youth attend on-site school and monitor behavior.
• Maintain documentation of incidents, assessments, and training records.
• Oversee training plans and safety, clothing inventories, and equipment.
• Supervise outings and ensure proper planning and preparation.
• May supervise medication administration per policy.
