Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is hiring a Site Team Lead for our Lake Zurich location at Sarah Adams Elementary School. You will mentor staff, lead daily activities for youth, and ensure quality programming while coordinating supplies and snacks to keep the program running smoothly.

You will also deliver direct service when needed and participate in ongoing training to meet accreditation standards. The role emphasizes equity, inclusion, and well-being within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare, education, or youth leadership is required.
• Strong communication skills and passion for youth development.
• Ability to lead a team, coordinate programs, and support families.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program quality and assist in implementing curriculum.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff and oversee ordering and distribution of snacks, materials, and all supplies.
• Deliver direct service when necessary to execute the program and maintain accreditation standards.
