Job summary

Sasha Bruce Youthwork in Washington, DC is seeking an Assistant Program Manager for Bruce House, a 24/7 crisis residential facility for youth aged 12-17. You will lead case management operations, support family reunification goals, and ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include managing HMIS data, supervising case managers and residential staff, coordinating services, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field is required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical counseling/case management experience with adolescents, preferably in a residential setting.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the case management system and ensure adherence to agency policies.
• Lead regular case conference meetings and coordinate services to support family reunification.
• Serve as primary HMIS data management point and ensure data integrity and reporting compliance.
• Provide crisis intervention and on-site counseling to youth and families; develop individualized counseling goals.
• Create and manage staff schedules; supervise case managers and residential staff; ensure program operations run smoothly.
