Job summary

Waypoint Academy in Dripping Springs, Texas is hiring a Youth Program Director for a full-time, on-site role. This W2 position pays $150,000 USD/year with weekly payroll and day-one health benefits, plus relocation support.

You will coach Guides, run outdoor life-skill workshops for K-12 students, and lead a cohort while developing new programs. You’ll use student analytics to drive progress, review performance data, and ensure each student loves school while building character and life skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, business, outdoor education, recreation, youth development, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in education, youth development, coaching, outdoor education, or L&D.
• Track record of leading a team of 5+ adults, including hiring and performance-based decisions.
• Direct experience working with youth ages 5-18 in an educational or developmental setting.
• Built, launched, or grew a program, team, school, or outdoor initiative with measurable outcomes.
• Proven use of data and metrics to set goals and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coach the Guides who work alongside you: review performance data and close gaps.
• Lead one-hour outdoor life-skill workshops for K-12 students.
• Run motivation sessions using student analytics to drive progress.
• Carry your own student cohort while developing other Guides.
• Track student satisfaction, goal completion, and Guide performance weekly.
