Job summary

Waypoint Academy in Dripping Springs, Texas, seeks an Outdoor Education Director to blend academics with real-world challenges. This full-time, in-person role leads a cohort of Guides and runs adventure-based programs that move students toward their goals.

You will coach and develop staff, analyze performance data, and design outdoor life-skill workshops for diverse K-12 learners, emphasizing resilience, teamwork, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Five+ years in education or youth development is expected.
• Experience leading a team of adults and driving outcomes with data.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides, review data, and close performance gaps with actions.
• Lead one-hour outdoor life-skill workshops for K-12 students.
• Run motivation sessions using analytics to drive student progress.
• Develop other Guides while coaching from current experience.
• Track weekly satisfaction, goals, and performance to prevent underperformance.
