Piedmont Community Services is seeking a full-time youth prevention and mental health promotion specialist to implement programs addressing substance use and suicide prevention. You will deliver educational sessions to elementary through high school students, and develop awareness campaigns to foster youth leadership and life skills within Franklin and Henry Counties.

The role requires comfort with public speaking, training, and working with diverse populations, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in human services or related field.
• Experience in planning and implementing prevention programming.
• Ability to train and present to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement programming addressing substance use and suicide prevention and mental health promotion among youth.
• Provide educational programs for elementary, middle, and high school students.
• Develop awareness campaigns and activities/presentations to foster youth leadership and life skills.

Education
