Cenikor Foundation is seeking a part-time Prevention Specialist to deliver substance use education to youth in schools and community settings around Amarillo. The role involves weekly travel to schools, presenting programs, screening participants, and connecting families with resources.

You will document files, report HHSC measures, and maintain compliance while collaborating with prevention leaders to uphold Cenikor's core principles and support positive outcomes for students and communities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field.
• Experience working with adolescents in group settings preferred.
• Experience in school settings with classroom management preferred.
• Trained in Positive Action Prevention Curriculum preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to schools in the Amarillo area weekly.
• Provide substance use education programs to youth in school and community settings.
• Screen youth for curriculum education groups and identify needs for referrals to outside agencies.
• Document and maintain program files according to guidelines; report measures to HHSC.
