Job summary

Cenikor Foundation is seeking a Part-Time Prevention Educator to travel to schools in Williamson County, delivering substance use education to youth and adults. You will screen participants, reference external resources, and participate in campaigns and community events.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and program evaluation within Cenikor’s prevention framework. Proficiency with MS Office and calendar tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Travel weekly to schools in Williamson County area (Hutto, Manor ISD).
• Deliver substance use education to youth grades 1–12 in schools and community.
• Screen youth for education groups and refer to outside services as needed.
• Provide tobacco, alcohol and substance use awareness presentations for youth and adults.
• Support national or state campaigns and community events.
• Participate in program evaluation and improve outcomes.
• Foster health and wellness activities for participants.
• Represent Cenikor in schools and with community partners.
• Build positive relationships with schools and partners.
• Document program files per federal, state, and Cenikor rules.
