Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is seeking a Bachelor’s level clinician to join the Taunton High School team, supporting students and families with prevention services and mental health guidance. The role collaborates with school staff and external providers to enhance well-being.

The position is full-time with school hours and some after-hours for events; a Community Health Worker certification is preferred but not mandatory. Salary ranges provided in the posting.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old; 1+ years of experience working with youth.

$60,320 - $70,720 a year (experience and education dependent)

Hours:

Monday - Friday - School hours with some after hours for events

Seeking BA level clinician to join a seasoned team at Taunton High School to support, mentor and provide prevention services for students and families, coordinating closely with school and other providers to help improve mental health and quality of life. Community Health Worker certification preferred but not mandatory. One year working/interning with youth preferred. Summer months and school vacations are utilized in school offices.

Typical hours are school days but after hours and weekend events are mandatory for this program at least quarterly, during school vacations and summers. Summer months are in office.

$1000.00 sign on bonus eligible!

Bachelor's Level Clinician Requirements
  • Must always present as courteous and professional;
  • Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position;
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks;
  • Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion;
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO Electronic Health Record (EHR);
  • Must have the ability to work with others in a cooperative and collaborative manner;
  • An understanding of the relationship between substance uses and mental health issues and/or self-help programs;
  • Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries;
  • Reinforce rules in a respectful manner;
  • Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder and HIPAA Regulations;
  • TB/Flu and Covid19 Assessment;
  • Annual Completion of the HPAO crisis de-escalation program;
  • CPR Certification;
  • Successful completion of all trainings upon hire and annually as required.
Bachelor's Level Clinician Duties And Responsibilities
  • Submission of all required driving documentation per policy at hire and annually thereafter (TM);
  • Transport and engagement with youth in community settings (TM);
  • Completion of all CBHI New Hire Trainings upon hire (TM);
  • Possesses an understanding of trauma informed care and cultural competence and attends all additional trainings as required/assigned;
  • Ability to run psycho educational and social support groups as needed;
  • Knowledge of area resources necessary to meet treatment plan goals of youth;
  • Ability to network and develop professional working relationships with external area providers;
  • Ongoing regular communication and collaboration with other internal and external providers;
  • Completion of all required documentation at the start of services and updates as required by performance specifications;
  • Ability to accurately document time spent with clients, guardians, and collaterals including interventions utilized and responses to these interventions;
  • Ongoing monitoring and compliance with required documentation for services;
  • Tracking service authorizations dates/units and providing updated information for continued stay reviews, as necessary for the service provided;
  • Comply with all necessary medical necessity criteria and performance specifications, dependent on service provided;
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Program Director
