Job summary

Brain Balance of Wexford is seeking a motivated Performance Coach to work with children facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. You will guide and assist kids through sensory and motor activities designed to stimulate the brain in a center-based setting.

The role supports holistic programming, combining cognitive, behavioral, and nutrition learnings to address root causes and improve lives. Great for those who want meaningful, hands-on impact.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to help children and their families achieve goals.
• Empathy, compassion, enthusiasm, patience, kindness, and reliability.
• Strong curiosity and a desire to learn about why children struggle.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule.
• The ability to pass a background check, criminal check, and child abuse clearance.
• Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Work with kids (4-18) with social, emotional, academic and behavioral struggles and/or with formal diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, ODD, Dyslexia, Learning and Processing Disorders.
• Work part-time hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday between the times of 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
• Gain training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, counseling, kinesthesiology, mental health, and parenting
• Create lasting, positive change for children and their families.
