Job summary

NFI North is seeking two Youth Peer Support Specialists to strengthen our youth services across New Hampshire. This full-time role requires empathetic, lived-experience-based support for teens. One position focuses in Keene/Claremont; the other in central/southern NH, with travel to Concord expected.

You will help youths identify strengths and connect with clinical and community resources. Applicants must be 18-26, have transportation, and ideally experience in direct service or studies in

Qualifications

• Must be between 18-26 years old and have lived experience receiving mental/behavioral health services or having experienced a mental/behavioral health challenge.
• Must have access to personal transportation due to frequent travel.
• Ideal background includes direct service work with youth or studies in social work or psychology.

Responsibilities

• Provide Youth Peer Support to young people across NH.
• Offer empathetic connections based on lived experience and help youths identify strengths.
• Assist youths in finding clinical and community services and supports.
