Job summary

YMCA of Delaware seeks a Part-Time Program Coordinator for the Workforce Teen Program at Walnut YMCA Family Location. You will collaborate with the Program Director on events, curriculum, and reporting while guiding youth through all program components, including internships and deadlines.

The role emphasizes partnership-building, youth mentorship, and effective communication to drive student success and program growth.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage a diverse youth community.
• Understanding of workforce development, youth mentorship, and program management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Director on event planning, curriculum development, and reporting.
• Lead program participants through all components, including hiring, document collection, and processing.
• Inform students, parents, and partners of timelines, deadlines and important events.
• Facilitate Professional Development workshops for cohorts.
• Coordinate internship placements aligned with career interests and goals.
• Monitor and document internship hours to ensure program requirements are met.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners to expand program opportunities.
