Job summary

Riverview Community Church in Ashland, Nebraska is seeking a Youth Pastor who loves Jesus and loves students. You’ll lead adult volunteers, interact with parents, and invest in students through large group and small group ministry.

You’ll preach, teach the Word of God, and guide students toward a stronger faith, possibly officiating weddings and providing counsel. Housing allowance and retirement benefits are included.

We are looking for someone who loves Jesus and loves students. Yes, you’ll work with and lead some of our awesome adult volunteers and interact with parents, but honestly, you just really love students.

Bottom line

You’ve got a contagious passion to help students become more like Jesus and to reach students that are far from Jesus.

You’ll love stuff like this

You want to see students living out their faith in the church, community, and world. You might take students on a mission trip, or on a trip through their Bible, or on a short trip to Bluejays Ice Cream & Candy (probably not in that order J)! Or maybe you’ll teach them some humility and show them who’s boss in 9 square!

As a Pastor/Shepherd

You love the Word of God and love teaching it to students. You want to see them grow in their faith through large group, small group, or one-on-one opportunities. As a pastor at RCC, you might preach on a Sunday morning, officiate a wedding, or provide wise counsel to students or parents.

Education/Experience

Bible college or seminary training would be fantastic for obvious reasons, but let’s chat if you haven’t pursued either. Also, you’ll definitely get our attention if you have previous youth pastor experience!

Salary/Benefits

$65,000 – $85,000+ (really depends on your experience/education). We offer great benefits like a housing allowance, retirement, vacation, etc. You also get to live in idyllic Ashland, which is just minutes from Omaha, Lincoln, and the best state parks in Nebraska.
