Anna First Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Youth Pastor with strong desire to engage today's youth. Candidate would be expected to develope their own circulum.

With a strong emphasis on youth ministry, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Pastor. Our church is in Anna, IL., and we have a diverse congregation of various backgrounds and ages.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the youth ministry program, including weekly gatherings, special events, retreats, and service projects.
• Develop and implement an engaging and relevant curriculum that addresses youth's spiritual, emotional, and social needs.
• Build strong relationships with youth, parents, volunteers, and church leadership, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
• Provide pastoral care, mentorship, and support to youth as they navigate life's challenges and grow in their faith.
• Equip and empower youth to become disciples of Jesus Christ and leaders within the church and community.
• Collaborate with other ministries and church staff to coordinate intergenerational events and initiatives.
• Stay informed about current trends, issues, and best practices in youth ministry, incorporating relevant resources and strategies into programming.

Qualifications:

• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion for sharing the gospel with youth.
• At a minimum, an associatedegree, in ministry, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in youth ministry leadership, including planning and facilitating programs and events.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others in ministry.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the youth ministry.
