Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; emphasis on visual disabilities or related field.
• Minimum of two years working with individuals with visual impairments.
• Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Orientation and Mobility evaluations and establish service plans.
• Provide home, community, and center-based instruction for clients.
• Complete required reports and ensure confidentiality of client records.

Skills

Excellent internal and external customer service skills

Intermediate knowledge of database applications

Effective organizational and time management skills

Ability to interpret eye reports

Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Master's Degree in a vision-related field
