Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation in the United States is seeking a WYNT Administrator to manage domestic and international Youth National Team events, camps, and operations.

You will lead planning for camps, coordinate travel, lodging, and budgets, and serve as the point of contact for players and staff. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and budget skills, plus willingness to travel up to 50% of the year and work non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • General knowledge of soccer.
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Exceptional time-management skills and ability to prioritize workflow.

  • Experience in managing a budget, travel (domestic and international) and operations for an elite sports team.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 50% of the year, domestic and international.
  • Able and willing to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Identify travel and camp operations needs with head coach and YNT managers.
  • Plan and secure player/staff travel (air, hotel, ground transport, meals, visas).
  • Manage and maintain the team’s daily schedule.
  • Liaise with training site to ensure readiness for training.
  • Onboard team staff (background checks, SafeSport, payroll).
  • Troubleshoot operational matters during travel and camps to ensure welfare.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors (hotels, airlines, etc.).
  • Organize team bonding activities and cultural outings.
  • Assist budgeting: pay invoices and track expenses for operations, travel, and events.
  • Oversee player release processes and coordinate with coaching staff.
  • Maintain Player Pathway Project data with players and clubs.
  • Lead communications with staff, players, and parents.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and propose efficiency improvements.
  • Facilitate match operations (ticketing, accreditations, etc.).
  • Advise staff on policies of U.S. Soccer, CONCACAF and FIFA.
  • Maintain files on waivers, contracts, reports, and trip documents.
