A leading church is seeking a Youth Pastor/Director to lead and develop youth ministries. This full-time role involves working closely with church leadership to foster discipleship and community among middle and high school students. Overview: The Youth Pastor/Director is called to pastoral ministry specifically related to youth ministries. Oak Hill Alliance Church considers Youth ministries to be comprised of children who are in middle school and high school ages. The Youth Pastor/Director will work closely with the Senior Pastor, Elders, and the DMM Committee to help develop a cohesive discipleship strategy. This is a full-time position.
Requirements:
The candidate will be licensed and in good standing with the Christian & Missionary Alliance or be willing and able to pursue licensing with the C&MA. The candidate must have theological training either via undergraduate (Bachelor’s minimum) or graduate level studies within institutions that align with C&MA doctrine. The candidate will display a current understanding of various methods of approaching student ministry, cultural trends and firm biblical understanding. The candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in leading and developing a worship culture.

Job Description:
The Youth Pastor/Director is responsible for the following:
1. Youth Ministries
2. Attend necessary meetings with the Pastoral staff and Youth leadership team.
3. Lead regular Youth meetings, Bible Study sessions and events/outings/get togethers outside of church.
4. Provide necessary receipts and documentation regarding budgetary matters.
5. Be willing to show support for the youth when it is appropriate (i.e. attending a school game or concert, a note of encouragement for an upcoming test, following up with someone who has stopped attending, etc.)
6. Regular attendance at Oak Hill Alliance Church Worship Services (Sunday mornings and occasional Saturday evening services).
