Job summary

Christ's Church of the Valley is seeking a Students Pastor to lead Junior and Senior High ministry efforts, recruit and train volunteers, and grow campus involvement. You will help pastoring youth, plan events, and report attendance while partnering with families and volunteers to fulfill CCV's mission.

The role emphasizes developing students into Christ-centered leaders, nurturing team coaches, and expanding impact through church-wide programs and events.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience leading a ministry of youth and volunteers.
• Degree in Youth Ministry preferred, however training or proven experience in the field will be considered.
• Athletic team experience is helpful.
• Software and technology skills is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Execute Junior and Senior High events and programs.
• Cast the overall CCV & Students Ministry vision with parents and volunteers.
• Provide pastoral care for families and coaches.
• Recruit, train, and retain volunteers for all weekend areas and events.
• Develop and maintain school campus involvement.
• Follow up with first-time students.
• Collect and report accurate weekly attendance according to established standards and deadlines.
• Plan and execute church-wide events such as Kick off events, Easter, Christmas Eve.
