Job summary

Young Life in the United States is seeking Mission Staff to learn and participate in effective Young Life ministry through training and direct field ministry. You will develop a yearly growth plan, lead teams in spiritual development, and help shape club and camping activities with excellence.

Training includes mission-wide and area leadership development; a college degree is preferred. The base pay range for this role is $2,000–$2,200 per month, depending on education, experience, and location.

Qualifications

• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life including time for solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer and a sincere commitment to understanding God's Word.
• Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
• Recruit and train new leaders to build a leadership team that reflects the community.
• Plan and conduct Young Life clubs and Campaigners/discipleship ministry with excellence.
• Implement a summer and school-season camping strategy for the ministry.
• Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures and maintain professionalism concerning office hours, dress, conduct and time management.
