Description:

St. Francis Xavier Parish – Youth Ministry Coordinator Part-time (or potentially full-time).

Position Available: St. Francis Xavier Parish in La Grange, approximately 15 miles west of Chicago, seeks a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Youth Ministry Coordinator to engage high school youth.

There is flexibility in determining the scope of this position, which may involve 15-30 hours per week, to be mutually agreed upon by employee and employer. Employer could potentially expand the position to full time in order to minister to area teens via collaboration with another local parish.

Job Qualifications:

1. Currently enrolled in a degree/certificate program, relevant missionary/ministerial experience, or Bachelor’s degree.
2. Passionate about discipling high school youth.
3. An approach to ministry rooted in personal prayer and scriptural reflection.
4. Experience working in a collaborative environment.
5. Organized, with excellent people skills.
6. Able and willing to work evening and weekend hours.
