Job summary

Concord Baptist Church in the Bessemer, Alabama area is seeking a part-time Youth Minister to provide biblical, relational, and missional leadership to our student ministry. We are looking for someone who loves Christ, loves students, and desires to help young people grow in their faith and become active participants in the life and mission of the church.

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ.
• Agreement with Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Genuine calling to ministry to teenagers.
• Ability to communicate and teach Scripture effectively.
• Strong relational, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Previous youth ministry experience preferred; education is beneficial but not required.

• Previous youth ministry experience is preferred. Ministry or theological education is beneficial but not required.

This is a part-time ministry position and could be an excellent opportunity for a college or seminary student, educator, bi-vocational minister, or someone called to student ministry who is looking for an opportunity to serve and grow a youth ministry.
