Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan. Mentors support, encourage, and help with skill-building activities, both in home and during community outings to foster personal goals.

Full and part-time positions available. Training provided; background checks required. Flexible schedule and weekly pay help accommodate various commitments while making a real difference.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with Mental Health Recipients in their homes.
• Support, encourage and help with skill-building activities.
• Accompany Recipients to community activities to support personal goals.

You will also be bringing them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment.
