Job summary

Arbor Circle in Grand Rapids seeks a Youth Mentor to support youth in achieving therapy-based goals through one-on-one skill development. Services occur in home and community settings, emphasizing life and social skills within a trauma-informed care framework.

Qualifications

• Regular availability to work after school, evenings and weekend hours.
• Experience and/or desire to work with Children and Adolescents.
• Services are performed in client homes and/or community settings - comfort with these settings required.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to meet regular supervision and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mentoring and skill development for youth.
• Help youth reach goals outlined in therapy with trauma-informed care.
• Engage families and coordinate with supervisors for ongoing support.
