Job summary

Discovery Ranch, a leading residential treatment center for boys aged 13-18 in Utah, seeks Youth Mentors for part-time, overnight weekend coverage. You’ll work with students, supporting personal growth and skill development in a team-based, therapeutic setting.

Experience with teens is preferred; background checks and First Aid/CPR certification may be required. Salary ranges are described as $17-18/hour DOE, with benefits and active training opportunities provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the students throughout the night.
• Help manage and document behavioral issues and progress.
• Provide support to students and their families.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for the students.
• Ensure safety of all students and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with other professionals as part of the treatment team.

• Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain high standards of care.

As a Youth Mentor, you will have the opportunity to work with our students, helping them to develop new skills and advance their personal growth. You will be part of a supportive team of experienced professionals who are committed to helping young boys heal mentally, physically, and emotionally. Discovery Ranch combines the power of traditional and experiential therapies, including equine therapy and horsemanship programs, to create a clinically sophisticated, relationship-based setting that promotes growth and healing.

Responsibilities

Part time hours | $17-18/hour DOE

Weekends:

Friday 10:45pm - Saturday 9:00am, Saturday 10:45pm- Sunday 9:00am & Sunday 10:45pm- Monday 7:00am
