Job summary

Boys Town in Tallahassee, FL seeks an Assistant Family Teacher to provide direct care to at-risk youth in a family-style home. You will teach life skills, model positive behavior, and support each child's development across moral, educational, and emotional domains.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour, full-time, with 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shifts, rotating weekends and occasional overnight stays. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, a 401(k) with employer match, paid leave, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CPR certification and training in personal restraint must be obtained during pre-service training.
• Comfortable working with youth in a structured home environment.

• Provide care, guidance, and behavioral support to youth.
• Teach life and social skills using the Boys Town model.
