Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Part-Time Youth Mentor in Janesville, WI to support youth with disabilities in achieving personal goals. The role offers after-school programming with flexible scheduling and a focus on independence and social skills.

You will mentor individuals one-on-one and in groups, teaching emotional regulation and coping strategies while maintaining clear documentation. Must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to youth participants with disabilities.

• Work collaboratively with the Aptiv team to help youth develop independence, social, and life skills.
• Mentor participants one-on-one and in small group settings.
• Teach emotional regulation, coping, and anger management strategies.
• Maintain consistency, strong communication, and accurate, up-to-date documentation.

The Role

As a Part‑Time Youth Mentor, you’ll play a key role in our youth services program, supporting youth with disabilities in achieving their personal goals. Every day will be different, making this a fun and fulfilling opportunity for those passionate about making a positive impact.

Schedule and Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $16.35/hour
• Hours: 10-20 hours per week
• After-school programming: 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Summer programming: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Monday‑Friday)
• Flexibility: Scheduling tailored to your availability
