Job summary

Emerald Youth Foundation seeks a JustLead Youth Ministry Coordinator to lead church-based youth programs for middle and high school students. You will recruit youth and families, coordinate afterschool and summer activities, and partner with churches and faith-based organizations to meet program goals.

The role requires recruiting and supervising volunteers, managing budgets, and upholding safety standards. A Christian commitment with strong communication skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a dedicated Christian with a clear Gospel emphasis and a heart for Emerald Youth Foundation’s mission.
• Bi-lingual ability (Spanish) is a plus and helpful for family engagement.
• Experience in organizing and implementing youth programs in urban settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, engage, and support neighborhood youth and families to participate in JustLead programs.
• Coordinate afterschool/summer camps and worship-related activities for various age groups.
• Achieve program goals through participant engagement, data reporting, and collaboration with partner churches/FBOs.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers and AmeriCorps members; manage budgets and safety standards.
• Maintain CDL and operate large vehicles as needed; participate in community events and church activities.
