Job summary

Willow Springs Center in Reno, NV seeks a Per Diem Therapist Intern to join our inpatient program, providing assessments, treatment planning, and therapy services to youth ages 6 to 17. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document progress, and participate in discharge planning to support continued care.

This role emphasizes crisis intervention when needed and requires pursuing licensure (LCSW/LCPC/MFT) with a plan to attain full licensure within six months.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting preferred.
• Must possess licensure as an intern (LCSW-Intern/LCPC-Intern/MFT-Intern) and obtain full license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to patients in an inpatient program.
• Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress.
• Deliver group, individual, and family therapy; participate in crisis intervention as needed.
• Engage in discharge planning and collaborate with community providers.
