Intercept Health is seeking a Full-time Life Skills Coach/Case Manager for its Young Adult Independent Living Program in Virginia. You will work with residents aged 17-21 to develop money management, employment, education, and daily living skills while contributing to individualized plans and career development.

The role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and $21-$23/hour pay, with a comprehensive benefits package and full-time stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field plus two years of case management experience with children and families.
• Or a human services Bachelor's degree with experience in case management for youth and families.
• Or a human services Master's degree with student placement in case management for youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Engage with young adults (ages 17-21) to support transition into the community.
• Help residents develop money management, employment, education, and daily living skills.
• Assist with life skills learning, transportation, and administrative duties.
• Contribute to the resident transitional living plan and career development opportunities.
• Serve as a positive role model and support residents in achieving goals.

As a Full-time Life Skills Coach at YouthQuest's Independent Living Apartment Program, you will actively engage with young adults, ages 17-21, who are preparing for successful transition into the community. You will serve as a positive role model for residents to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors. You will support residents in developing money management skills, obtaining employment, completing their education as applicable, learning daily living skills, and exploring career development opportunities. You will contribute to the formulation and implementation of the resident transitional living plan and assist with life skills learning, transportation, and administrative duties.

Education and Experience Required: The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's diploma in any field plus two years of experience in providing case management services to children and families; OR a human service Bachelor's degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, etc) with experience providing case management services to children/youth and their families preferred; OR a human service Master's degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, etc) with a student placement providing case management services to children/youth and their families.
