Job summary

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
• ACLS and BLS/AED certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily sick calls as required by policy.
• Supervise medication administration and maintain medication records.
• Procure, inventory, and store medications properly.
• Ensure follow-up with off-campus providers and document in EMR/Health Records.
• Provide in-service medical training for staff.
• Communicate with administration daily and perform shift-to-shift medication counts.
• Conduct health education for students and families.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding medical needs.
• Maintain a clean, kid-friendly medical clinic.
• Administer first aid and CPR per National standards.
• Drive program vehicles as required per policy.
• Be a positive role model for youth.
• May work evenings and weekends.
• Attend trainings and maintain licensure.
