Job summary

AMIkids in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medical care for youth in our program, ensuring compliance with Florida rules. The Nurse will perform sick calls, medication supervision, and coordinate care with offsite providers.

Flexible part-time schedule from 6am to 6pm, with CPR/First Aid and license required. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and documentation in medical records, supporting ongoing wellness for youth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Minimum of one year nursing experience.
• Valid LPN registration in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to youth as directed by program needs.
• Supervise all medication administration and storage.
• Maintain medical records and document visits and nurse notes.
• Conduct sick calls and routine health screenings.
• Coordinate with offsite medical providers and transports as needed.
• Attend training and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
