Job summary

Child & Family Services in Massachusetts seeks Therapeutic Mentors to provide one-to-one, strength-based support to youth. You will report to the Senior Therapeutic Mentor or Program Director and work with diverse families in community settings.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) with experience with youth, or an associate/bachelor in human services. A valid driver's license is essential, with travel to varied sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant experience, or an associate/bachelor degree in human services.
• Experience working with children/adolescents/transition-aged youth preferred.
• Cultural competency and inclusive practice required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid driver’s license and transportation to transport clients.
• Engage youth in community activities and implement behavioral health plans.
• Manage caseload targets: 3–5 part-time or 8–12 full-time.
• Develop individualized service plans with clinicians.
• Complete monthly/quarterly progress notes and discharge paperwork.
