Job summary

The i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Sports Coordinator to enhance the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The role requires building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional quality across age groups and skill levels.

The position involves hands-on involvement with practices and games to support coaches and players. You will empower volunteer coaches, teach core sportsmanship concepts, and supervise game-day operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems.
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
• Referee as needed for our flag football games with age groups from 5-17 years old
