Atlantic Fields Club seeks a Youth and Family Programs Supervisor to oversee the AF Kids Program and collaborate with the Outdoor Pursuits department to deliver safe, engaging experiences for members and guests at the Hobe Sound location.

You will act as Manager on Duty for the Outdoor Pursuits department, develop lesson itineraries, maintain equipment, and ensure safety policies are followed while delivering high-quality recreational activities.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid and AED certification are required.
• Experience in guest service and outdoor education with children.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Education or related field is desirable.

The Youth and Family Programs Supervisor will oversee the Atlantic Fields youth program, working with the Outdoor Pursuits department to ensure safe, engaging experiences for members and guests.

Location: Atlantic Fields, Hobe Sound, FL (Satty River property).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of the AF Kids Program
• Plan and enhance members and guest offerings during operational hours and organized club and family events.
• Collaborate with Outdoor Pursuits management and staff to continuously evolve amenities and experiences.
• Act as Manager on Duty for the Outdoor Pursuits department and support day‑to‑day operations.
• Develop lesson, game, and activity itineraries for the AF Kids Programs.
• Maintain accurate financial records within budgeted resources.
• Deliver weekly schedules for all outdoor pursuits staff, including AF Kids attendants.
• Develop direct reports through training and coaching to build skills.
• Maintain detailed inventory and perform pre‑use, weekly, and monthly equipment checks.
• Oversee safety policies and compliance for staff and members.
• Instructor and participant in Outdoor Pursuits activities such as archery, axe throwing, equestrian, fishing, and racquet sports.
• Supervise and transport participants to on‑ and off‑site events.
• Participate in overnight camping experiences as requested.
• Set up and break down department activities per SOP.
• Demonstrate safe use of all Outdoor Pursuits activities and train others.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in a clean, safe, and secure manner.
• Attend morning meetings and lead daily department briefings.
• Serve as a brand ambassador for the Outdoor Pursuits department, embodying club hospitality and member engagement.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Education or a similar field is desirable.
• Experience as a Certified Instructor Teacher or Counselor is desired.
• Prior guest‑service industry experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.
• Strong swimmer, comfortable in ocean water.
• History of outdoor education with children of varying ages.

• Meet physical demands: indoor/outdoor work in all weather, standing/walking for > 8 hours, lifting heavier than 50 lbs.
• Adaptability and willingness to take on new projects.
