Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a part-time hourly advocate to serve youth and families across Roscommon County. You will initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services with wraparound support, in community, school, and home settings.

The role offers flexible hours, mileage and activity reimbursements, and a $17.50 hourly rate. Evening and weekend work may be required, with travel across the county.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office are required.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
• Base service plans on a strength-based approach using the wraparound model.
• Provide advocacy services to youth and families in community, school, and home settings.
