Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Pre-employment background investigation is required.
• No prior experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct searches of new admissions, clients and visitors to prevent contraband.
• Check all buildings and ensure windows closed, doors locked, and lights off during non-working hours.
• Enforce SATC policies and procedures.
• Assist staff with maintaining resident-to-staff ratios and with combative residents using CPI techniques.
• Follow walk away policies and coordinate searches with staff and law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor fire extinguishers monthly and report any deficiencies.
• Respond to all fire alarms and log observations and actions.
