Job summary

XP League, operating through Code Ninjas in Draper, is seeking a part-time Coach - Esports to guide youth players, teach game-related skills, and foster a positive, safe gaming environment. The role involves daily interaction with children ages 7 and up, collaborating with parents, and tracking progress for weekly updates.

The position offers a flexible schedule up to 25 hours per week on weekdays, with compensation ranging from $8.00 to $12.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Working history with children ages 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.).
• Experience working with the general public.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring or childcare.
• Works well with others; collaborates.
• Knowledgeable about gaming and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts.
• Must be fun to work with and like working in fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently.

Responsibilities

• Commit to the principles of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA)
• Training – go through the guides and learn it
• Create a positive and safe environment in which players can grow
• Work with children to determine skill sets
• Provide feedback to parents after working with player who is on a tour
• Clean site throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards
• Report weekly to League Commissioner on progress
• Report daily to League Commissioner with respect to day’s activities and productivity in league
