Job summary

YWCA Clark County seeks a part-time Outreach Coordinator to engage youth facing oppression, develop leadership opportunities, and coordinate community events in Clark County. You will partner with Prevention Program staff to deliver trainings, track activities, and ensure accurate reporting.

Candidates with lived experience and commitment to racial and LGBTQ+ equity are encouraged to apply; strong communication, time management, and trauma-informed approaches are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in prevention work or anti-oppression preferred.
• Experience with youth engagement and facilitation.
• Lived experience as a BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ youth encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to schools and youth organizations currently providing services to youth experiencing oppression.
• Lead and coordinate annual Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQ+ youth events.
• Facilitate trainings on prevention, teen dating violence, and prevention resources for youth communities.
• Attend taskforce meetings and track outreach data in state databases.
• Complete narrative reports for outreach activities and trainings.
• Finish initial 56 hours of training and 20 hours annually thereafter.
